History
The Secret Footballer site came into existence in 1998. The site was introduced to support the local game. It did not have any bigger goal to inspire the game at the national level. Therefore, it went slowly for a few years without any hype and attention. But suddenly, it became very popular.
Though it was not designed to promote the game at the higher level, still, The Secret Footballer became one of the top five soccer websites in Australia. After the success, it focused more on the promotion of the local games.
